Christmas Photos Times Three
Had a cool oppurtunity to do something a little different last week. Ed Wagstaff, the owner of Clearbrook Yamaha, called me up and asked if I was intrested in taking some Christmas photos of his triplet daughters. Since I've been expanding more into that area these days I jumped at the chance to expand my horizons and try something different.
It's always a bit intimidating when you step outside your comfort zone but things were made easier by how easy going the trio were(they were, after all, 10 years old and full of that typical kid hyperactivity). I kept the lighting simple with just two umbrellas with about a stop difference between the main and the fill and just worked on getting them to open up a bit and be natural. It didn't take long before they were goofing around and relaxed and that's when I got my favorite images. Here's a couple that I liked.
