just got back from a week in California with Kyle Beaton as he prepared to race his first AMA Supercross race in three years. The trip was awesome and it was great to see Kyle qualify right away, straight out of his heat race, even though he was burnt badly in practice. Kyle is pretty much footing this trip on his own. It doesn't make sense for his Canadian based sponsors to pull money out of their budget to race in another country, so though he's getting a little help, a lot of it is coming right out of his own wallet.
